Who's your favorite movie villain?

Oh gosh, where do I begin? Darth Vader has to be somewhere in the top three of my favorite evil villains. And I mean original trilogy Darth, not crappy, whinny Hayden Christensen. I mean, who doesn't love Darth? He's gotta be one of the most famous movie characters ever. Venom was always my favorite bad guy in the  Spiderman comics. In fact, I am almost willing to go and pay to see the new Spiderman movie because it promises to have Venom in it. I have always been partial to Shredder in the TMNT cartoon/movie/games. I was never a Krang fan and Bebop and Rocksteady were too clumsy and comical to be considered villains. But then there are more "bad guys" like Biff in Back to the Future. I mean, haven't we all done the "Butthead!" Haha, oh man. Biff was great. I guess my favorite villains in more recent movies would have to include Bill from Kill Bill. He was the best kind of best guy: suave and classy and totally vicious. And V from V for Vedetta, although it's probably highly debated whether or not V is actually a villian. But how couldn't you like V? Okay, I could see how the mask would bother some people but V is so knowledgable and cunning and witty and eloquent. He's pretty much everything you'd want to be. Except he's the bad guy. Kind of.

So is it totally corny that I have the San Francisco template up? Well, in my defense, I almost put the Tokyo one up which would have been way worse. So the San Francisco one will have to do until I get bored with it. So there!

School starts in five days (well, now that it is 12:23 AM, four days) and I have to admit that I'm really excited. I always get excited right before the beginning of a new school year. I'm always hopeful and anxious of what the new school year will bring. Hopefully it will be full of lots of deep, questioning moments in which I discover
a little more about who I am (blah blah blah...) and hopefully, I'll be able to focus long enough to maintain a respectably GPA. And maybe we'll party a bit too... ; )

I went and bought some more of my school books. The bookstore had all of them today except for the Human Sexuality book which I'm sure will be the most expensive of them all. But so far, they have only cost me $135.50 which is not bad at all. Ugh, I never thought that I'd see the day when I thought $135.50 wasn't a lot of money...

I'm trying to buy all of my books before the rest of the school kids come back. During the summer, the school was relatively deserted and it was really nice: No drunken frat guys yelling in the street. No annoying girls running down the halls screaming each other’s names. But now the school is starting to show signs of inhabitants. The bookstore was nearly crawling with all of the incoming freshman and their parents carefully scoping out the sweatshirts baring the SFSU logo. I couldn't help but roll my eyes a little bit, but they were really excited so I was happy for them.

Gah! My printer ran out of ink just this second. Grrr. I'll have to remember to get some more. Which reminds me: I lost my check card the other day. I'm pretty sure that I left it at Amoeba when I was in the Haight with Georgette. But I noticed it was missing before we even got home and cancelled it right away. The only problem is now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for it to get here and I only have a single dollar in cash. But it's all right. The only thing I have to buy (well, besides printer ink now) is the one last school book. So I think I'll be able to survive. On a side note, while we were in the Haight, Georgette and I went to the coolest little coffee shop called Rockin' Java which made me decide that I want to someday own my own coffee shop.

Well, it's getting late. I think that I'm going to curl up in bed and watch Sahara. Oooh, Matthew McConaughey...

What's the nerdiest thing about you?

Oh man, I'm not even sure how to start answering this question. Maybe one answer would be that at almost any given time, I have probably one or two of these on line journal things. I also love video games. I always have. Legend of Zelda, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts I & II, Grand Theft Auto, and pretty much any 007 game that is out there. I also love the Ages of Empires games and I went through this crazy period where I loved to play The Sims 2. I also am a nerd in the sense that I love to read. I seriously have mountains of books that I have read and mountains that I have yet to read. I also have a tendency to obsess over certain movies over a short duration of time.

I think that I'm going to go ahead and stop now before I lose anymore of my street cred...
